Before May 2026, maps were updated 1-2 times a month. Since then, we have changed the process though and map updates are no longer tied to app updates.
As a result, we now release map updates roughly once a week. A basic recent map update will ship with each app update, but are also able to Check for Updates in the download screen and get updated maps until the app version is too old for compatibility with new maps.
